How to Draw Winnie the Pooh
Step 1
Starting at the top of the paper, draw an irregular circular shape with a width greater than the length. This outlines the top of Winnie Pooh’s head.
Start at the top and function your method to ensure enough room for Winnie Pooh’s entire body. This also helps you place your design in the center.
Step 2
Draw two connected curved lines just below the head. This forms the curvy, pointed shape under the head. This shape is also part of Winnie Pooh’s head outline.
The structure might not make sense right now, but it will once the outline of Winnie the Pooh is perfected.
Step 3
Draw a rounded shape under the outline we formed in the previous step. This shape forms the outline of Winnie Pooh’s body.
Be sure to accentuate Winnie Pooh’s tummy by making it rounder and wider. This makes the tummy appear swollen, one of the defining characteristics of Winnie the Pooh!
Step 4
Polish the shape of Winnie Pooh’s body by removing the inner lines. Only the lines that overlap inside the figure should be erased, revealing a more refined outline of Winnie Pooh’s body.
After completing this step, you should see Winnie Pooh’s figure, starting from his head and ending at his stomach.
Step 5
To create the Winnie the Pooh shirt, draw a wide V-shaped line under the head to form the hem of the collar. Next, draw an outline that will cover Winnie Pooh’s torso.
Finally, draw the short sleeves on both sides of the shirt. This completes the shape of the cropped t-shirt that is Winnie Pooh’s signature outfit.
Step 6
Draw an elongated, curved shape with a rounded end that connects directly to the sleeve hem. Then repeat the same process on the other sleeve.
This forms the left and right arms and hands of Winnie the Pooh.

Step 7
Draw an attached inverted U shape on the lower left side of Winnie Pooh’s torso to form the left leg.
Next, draw a semicircle at the bottom of the leg to create the foot. Make sure you erase the line overlapping the inside of the left leg.
To create the right leg, draw an oblong shape with a rounded curve on the opposite side of Winnie Pooh’s lower body.

Create Winnie Pooh’s ears by including a curved arc line on either side of the top of his head. Make sure the edges of both ears are rounded.
